POLICY

The Gap Cubbyhouse Montessori ensures all personal information requested, collected and discussed with each family and staff member is stored with strict attention to maintaining privacy and confidentiality, in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the Queensland Information Privacy Act. Personal information is defined in s 6(1) of the Privacy Act as:

• information or an opinion (including information or an opinion forming part of a database), whether true or not, and whether recorded in a material form or not, about an individual whose identity is apparent, or can reasonably be ascertained, from the information or an opinion.
